Emergency Dentistry
When is Urgent Dental Care Necessary?
Dental emergencies can happen at virtually any time or place and cause a person a lot of pain and discomfort until they are able to see a dentist. For this reason, it’s important to contact the office immediately if you are experiencing any type of emergency that needs to be resolved quickly. If left alone, the issue could get worse and cause additional problems down the road.
What is Emergency Dentistry?
Emergency dentistry can be done for both patients of the office as well as those who are new patients. The point of emergency dentistry is to find solutions for the problems at hand in order to reduce pain and discomfort for the individual experiencing an emergency. A full examination and series of x-rays will need to be done in order to determine what’s wrong as well as to come up with a viable treatment plan. Be aware that emergency situations that are ignored can get worse if treatment is not provided quickly.
